Wednesday's Update

Jim has already had a full day! The doctors had him sitting up in a chair for three hours and then had him walk around the entire ICU! All this activity has wiped Jim out as now he is taking a much needed nap. The central line in his neck has been removed. Also, the swelling in his head has gone down substantially. Because of this, you can now see that the whole frontal right portion of his skull is missing. No worries though! This will be put back in place once he has fully recovered!

  1. God,
You are so unbelievably AMAZING! Thank you SO much for the miracle you've made of my dad. I know you didn't take him into your arms, because he has SO much work for you to do here! And I want to thank you for using him to make me realize that I NEED YOU IN MY LIFE! Like my mom says, You ARE the ultimate physician!!! I know what happened wasn't a health issue. It was Satan trying to bring him (and us) down, but once again... IT DIDN'T WORK! My daddy is WAY too strong for that!! :)
I can't wait to spend the rest of my life in your hands. I've finally come to realize how important it is to have You in my life!
GOD, YOU REIGN! FOREVER AND EVER!!! =)

I LOVE YOU DADDY!!!! YOU ARE (LITERALLY) A WALKING MIRACLE!!!! =D

    I love watching God's miracles!

  3. Sounds to me like our "critial" patient is getting less and less critical! That means they can't keep you trapped in that ICU much longer!!! Your getting closer to being moved to the stepdown! Hang in there Jim!!

Thank you Jesus for healing our Jim!!!

  4. Hey Jim,I finally figured out how to sign on. Up to this point I have had some many thoughts I wanted to share with you but just couldn't record them until now. Let me begin by telling you how amazing it has been to witness this miraculous healing of your body. And to hear the stories of the many lives you've touched is incredibly awesome. My friend, you have one cool testimony. Praise God!!! Until the day you walk out of that hospital you can count on me to be on my kness in prayer for you and your strong courageous beautiful wife. Love you in Christ!

  5. Hey God,
Wow..Thanks again. What an amazing job you are doing through Jim. Thank you for the many blessings...as I sit here in tears thinking of the many blessings you have shown us, and all the amazing things that have happened because of this that we cannot even comprehend. You are so awesome, and it is such an honor to witness this. I ask you to continue to bless Jim, continue to be with his family, doctors, medical staff, and all who are praying for Jim. Lord I ask you to use this worldwide for your glory. We cant even begin to imagine the effects this has had on people, and I thank you for allowing us to be a part of it. I thank you for Jim being willing to do anything to serve you, and allow your glory to be seen through him. Lord allow them to bask in your presence, continue to bless them so their cup runneth over.
We love, honor, obey, an worship you, and pray to you in Jesus name,
    Amen

  7. Wow I am enjoying hearing all of the wonderful stories! Especially hearing that this whole ordeal brought your daughter back to church! I have a son who isn't attending church...I sure hope it doesn't take something like this to get him back in!! Our God is bigger than any of this and He is amazing! My boys and I are still praying every day for you!!

  8. Jim and Char, it is in GOD'S wishes for you to share your life's path to the church. Boy OH! What a begining.

May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow
May the soft wind freshen your spirit
May the sunshine brighten your heart
May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you
And may GOD enfold you in the mantle of his love.

May good luck be with you wherever you go
and your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow

JIM, CATHY, JASON, MEAGHAN, and ANDREW-still waiting on that little one
