Just a quick update

Jim ate all of his breakfast this morning! His brother Bobby called Char and said he is doing fantastic and is in great spirits. Jim is finally back to himself! What a relief and what a difference a week can make!

This week has been a roller coaster of emotions. We could not have gotten though it without the love and support of all our family and friends. It is amazing to know that there are thousands of people in different cities, states and even countries that are praying for Jim's recovery.

Philipians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

  5. I didn't realize how much Jim meant to me until I looked upfront today and someone else was standing at his spot by the stage. I'm thrilled to know he's getting better and we will continue to pray for him. I'm making dessert for the potluck !

  7. Hey God,
I want to thank you again for Jim and his family. What a blessing it was seeing Char in church this morning, and another blessing to know that you were again personally taking care of Jim. Thank you for the answered prayers, thank you for Jim's appetite. Thank you again for the church that is praying for him, what an honor to see and remember that the church is not just our local body, but YOUR body. Thank you for all the blessings this ordeal has uncovered. Thank you for Jim and his wiliness, his ability as a leader for having the strength to allow you to show us the many things that you have during this. Thank you for the doctors and nurses, the family, and all the love they feel. Lord I ask you to continue to care for them all, continue to surround them with your love, with your peace, with your guidance, wisdom, discernment, knowledge and understanding. Lord surround them with your presence and bless them all for your glory.
We love you so much Lord, and thank you. We ask that you return our brother, our father, our deacon, our friend to complete health. We ask you to be with him so the recovery he is going through can amaze the doctors, and show more of your wonderful glory Lord.
We thank you, we love you, and we pray to you today in the name of above all names,
    Amen
