Exciting news!!! Jim is now in a regular room! He's had clean cultures for 72 hours, and we are entering the last step of his recovery which is Physical Therapy. If he progresses as well as he has with everything else, then he should be home Monday or Tuesday!!!!! He is really enjoying all the visits from everyone, which has helped keep his spirits up & encouraged!
A Special thanks goes out to everyone for all the outpouring of love, support, and prayers throughout Jim's recovery process!

ReplyDeleteJesus is truly amazing. We are so excited for you-Jim, Char & the girls. We will continously pray that Jesus restores Jim's strength. We will pray that his health gets stored back to 100%. We have already seen what amazing things Jesus has done with Jim's health so far. We can't wait to see what Jesus has planned for Jim, Char & the family for the future. For the wisdom, knowledge and discernment you have given to all the medial staff, the out cry of prays and love Jim has been given over the weeks, for everything God. We thank you for just taking care of everything and giving us Jim and his family all they needed to not only get through this time, but to glorify you in the process. We stand before you, not amazed, but thankful! Our heart goes out to you as our voices cry out in glorious praise.

As I was marveling (yet again) at Jim's recovery process, having a conversation with God and letting Him know that I am continually awestruck ... His response to me was "I made the entire world in 6 days ... this was a piece of cake!"
ReplyDeleteOur God is not only all-powerful and amazing, but He is also completely logical AND has a sense of humor .... just one more way that our Jim is so good at being like Him ... we all could learn a lesson from this ....
