Post Surgery Update

Jim had a rough night following surgery with alot of nausea and pain. The morning wasn't much better, but they did figure out that the Morphine pump was causing him great nausea. So, they got rid of that and started giving him Tylenol and Norco which is what he takes for his headaches. We had to ask for something for nausea as well and that finally got better into the evening hour.

The pain didn't let up all day so they finally gave him something more powerful which knocked him out for a few hours. He rested the remainder of the day and is scheduled sometime tonight for a CT Scan to ensure all went well with surgery. We will get those results in the morning.

He is starting to swell again and still has his compression cap on which is the main cause of his pain. They are hoping to take the cap off tomorrow so we will be able to see all his staples again. He had them shave his entire head this time!

Please continue to pray for a speedy recovery and that the pain subsides. Thanks again for all the love and support and prayers.

  1. Dear God,
Thank you so much for my brother and his wonderful family. Thank you for all they have done, and for all they continue to do to glorify your holy name. Thank you for being with the medical staff, and everyone involved. Thank you for allowing us more time with Jim. Lord I ask continued blessings for him and his family. God I ask that you bring Jim's headaches down to where he barley feels them. God you have blessed Jim and his family so much, and us even more through all of this. I ask you to continue to bless them and allow them to feel your presence when they need it the most. Lord I thank you for being with Jim through all of this. We know that you love him, and we love him too, and thank you so much for allowing us to spend more time with him.
Lord I ask you to continue to be with his healing so that he can return to normal quicker than he ever thought possible.
We love you, and praise your wonderful holy name!!
In the name above all name, Jesus name,
    Amen
